Jesus Christ said, “I will build My church” (Matthew 16:18). He built it and remains the Head of the Church (Ephesians 1:22; 4:15). Jesus also gave us, His followers, the job of preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God to the whole world (Mark 16:15; Matthew 24:14).
